My Name is Susana Uriarte, and 2 days ago(October 10th) ii went to the dollar tree of 18036 Mateny Rd, Germantown MD 2087 it was today, Saturday October 9th, that i went to get certain kind of ballons, next to the balloons it was an office where a manager was with an associate, i asked them if they had anyone else beside the 2 cashiers that were busy taking customers, and no one else, soni asked him to please check the drawer just to see if they had that ballon that I needed, before making the line, and he denied, i kept asking to just please check (they don't let customers open the balloons drawers) then he answer me with a very bad attitude that he was not going to do it, it was literally right next to where he was, and the lady that was with him , kindly said to me that she was going to check, they didn't have it, and i told the manager " that didn't take her more than 10 seconds, you should work a little more on how to treat customers and how to offer a better customer service, as i was saying that, he stand up and close the door on my face, so he could do that, but he couldn't get a ballon for me, when he closed the door on my face, i hit the door with the palm of my hand ( I can't lie about that, but it was really frustrating the way he closed the door on my face), when i hit the door, i left the store, and he chase me , cursing and telling me to get out of his store, that was the most awful and embarrassing and bad moment I could have , i do have a video that shows the way he yelled at me telling me to get out of his store, sincerely, we could avoid all of this situation, if he was a little bit more kind, or professional, and just helped me, ot just been more kindly, or I don't know how they trained their people to be a manager, but I would asked you to please take care of this situation, because, this is the store I've been going for years, and NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF TREAT OR SOMEONE TALKING TO ME WITH WORDS OR THE WAY HE TALKED TO ME IN FRONT OF EVERYONE! i do have a video that i can provide to you, I will be waiting on your email back

User's recommendation: do not go to this store< at least not when this manager is on duty.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Dollar Tree Stores Pros: Location, I am a loyal customer and good prices.

Dollar Tree Stores Cons: Most of the people there have attitude problems.

You should also learn how to treat people. You should not treat him like he is your slave just because he works in retail.

He would not have closed the door on your face if you had been civil. He would not have cussed at you and told you to leave if you were civil. You caused your own embarrassment with your smart mouth and banging on the door. I hope you have your own behavior on video as well.

Had you kept your mouth shut this whole situation would have been avoided.

I do not know how your parents raised you. You have no business going in the office.

Not that it is any of your business but he went into the office to talk to the associate. He first ignored me when I knocked on the door.

He finally opened it. One of the other customers told me I was being rude.. I told her to mind her own business. When he opened the office door he was real rude to me.

He told me that he was talking to his associate and he would deal with me when he was done. He acted like I was his child and he was my father. He told me to stop interrupting. Then when he came out of his office his associate checked for the ballons.

I told him all he had to do was step away from his office for ten seconds. the customer comes first. I admit I cussed at him first. Then he told me to leave.

I hurt banged my hand against the door, and he said he would call the police. If he had helped me the customer right away he would not have had this situation. Also the door was not fully closed, it was only partly closed. So when I opened the door, because he was being unprofessional he refused to help me.

He only needed ten seconds then he could go back to his associate. He is not the only one with an attitude problem. The associate that was with him also did.

She told me they had no more ballons but only to get rid of me. Then some of the people in line had attitude problems.
